PS 130 Family Information Session/Town Hall

Dearest Families,

We hope everyone had a good week back after our 4-day break. We wanted to let everyone know that we will be continuing with our regular 3-cohort schedule for now and will inform you if there are any changes (see attached schedule). We want to have as little disruption for our students, our families, and our staff during this challenging time. WIth the addition of some added students to in-person learning, PS 130 is currently at about 75% of our students fully remote. For next week, we will be fully remote on Monday and Friday (12/7 and 12/11), Cohort A will come in on Tuesday and Wednesday (12/8 and 12/9) and Cohort B will come in on Thursday (12/10). For those students reporting to school for in-person learning, families must give consent to random COVID testing, so please make sure to provide consent online or bring in a signed form when your child comes into school next week. This will minimize the waiting that might occur outside, as we have to check off to make sure every family has given consent in order for your child to attend in-person learning. Thanking everyone for your patience ahead of time, as we know the weather is getting colder, too. We will hold a PS 130 Town Hall (which will be recorded) on Monday, December 7th, at 6:30pm via Zoom to address your questions or concerns.
