We hope that everyone had a restful 4-day break and is healthy and safe. Some of you may have already heard on the news that the Mayor and Chancellor announced that in-school learning will start up again next week Monday, December 7th (Cohort C), as long as our school does not become a red or orange zone. The Mayor and Chancellor also announced that all students and staff who attend in-person learning MUST consent to random COVID testing, which will now be taking place weekly (where about 20% of those in attendance will be tested randomly). There is an UPDATED consent that EVERYONE must fill out again, either online or via the attached form. ALL students reporting for in-person learning must either fill out this new form online or via the attached form (which can be handed in on the day your child returns to school). As of right now, PS 130 will continue to follow our A, B, and C cohort schedule. See attached calendar. This week, we will all be learning remotely from Monday through Friday. Also attached is a letter from our Chancellor with the latest updates (Translations will be posted online when available). As we get more updates, we will let you know as soon as possible.
